| Instructors Training Curriculum Overview |

| Beginning Requirements: |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Student must be a Xu Shen Chuan Black Belt (around 3 years of training). |
|
| Student must meet all requirements as set forth by ASTM Committtee F.08.29 on Martial Arts Safety |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Level 1 | CIT Course |
| (Certified Instructor Training) |
|
|
|
|
| Student learns how to lead and control a class, class structure, public speaking, and methods of presentation. |
|
| This is a 6 seminar course. |
|
|
| Student is trained in all ASTM f08.29 Safety Procedures. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Level 2 | Assistant Instructor |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Student has completed CIT Course and spends around 12 months |
|
|
| learning to apply the information in a mentored, on the floor environment, |
|
| predominately through observation and direct guidance from a Head or Master Instructor. |
|
| Student continues to attend CIT Course in order to see the information applied. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Level 3 | Board Certified Instructor |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Student has completed all level 2 training and is at least a 1st Degree Black Belt. |
|
|
|
|
| Student must attend annual recertification. |
|
|
|
|
| Instructor is capable of running entire class with the direct supervision of the Head or Master Instructor. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Level 4 | Board Certified Shifu/ Sensei |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Student has completed all level 3 training and is at least a 3rd Degree Black Belt. |
|
|
|
|
| Student must attend annual recertification. |
|
|
|
|
| Capable of running an entire floor without supervision. |
|
|
|
| Can make decisions regarding the advancement of lower levels up to 1st Degree Black Belt. |
|
|
| Must attend off site training as required by Master Instructor. |
|
|

Level 5
| Board Certified Head Instructor
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| | | Student has completed all level 4 training and is at least a 4th Degree Black Belt. | | | | | | |
| | | Student is a Board Certified Shifu/Sensei | | | | | | |
| | | Student is the head trainer under under a Master Instructor at any school location. | | | | | | |
| | | Though this student outranks an Shifu/Sensei, this person has the same rights and priviledges. | | | |
| Level 6 | Board Certified Master Instructor/ Shihan | | | | |

| Student has completed all level 4 training and is at least a 5th Degree Black Belt. |
|
|
|
|
| Is capable of running all floor operations. |
|
|
|
|
| Is capable of designing a curriculum. |
|
|
|
|
|
| Makes all advancement decisions. |
|
|
|
|
|
| This title is awarded by a Xu Shen Chuan Grand Master and is board approved. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Level 7 | Board Certified Grand Master Instructor |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Student has completed all level 6 training and is at least an 8thDegree Black Belt. |
|
|
|
|
| This title is awarded by a Xu Shen Chuan Grand Master and is board approved. |
